Master of Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan, began his spiritual journey of teaching Kundalini Yoga in an empty Los Angeles high school gym in 1969 during the turbulent flower power era. Studying comparative religion and Vedic philosophy in his youth, he reached out to the youth in America when he realized that underneath their experimentation with drugs to achieve altered states of mind was a desire to connect to a deeper sense of awareness and connection with themselves. He founded 3HO Centers (Healthy, Happy, Holy Organization) across the United States and during the next 30 years was a driving force in the acceptance of yoga and meditation in the mainstream. As a respected religious, community and business leader, Yogi Bhajan has met with Pope John Paul II and worked side-by-side with the Dalai Lama and the Archbishop of Canterbury to foster world peace. Enjoy today’s quotation of mastery by Yogi Bhajan:

If you want to learn a thing, read that; if you want to know a thing, write that; if you want to master a thing, teach that.

~Yogi Bhajan
